A study published in the Journal Cancer Research suggests that high levels of Vitamin D are associated with thinner primary melanoma and better outcome. Melanoma patients commonly avoid sun exposure and consequent Vitamin D deficiency might worsen outcomes. The study concluded that vitamin D-VDR signalling contributes to controlling proliferative/immunosuppressive Wnt/beta catenin signalling in melanoma and this is associated with less metastatic disease and stronger host immune responses.
Macánta Vitamin D3 2500iu may help replenish Vitamin D levels. Ideally a CAM Provider can evaluate a person’s health requirements and create a helpful strategy to achieve wellness goals.
