A study published in the ‘Journal of Functional Foods’ advocates the use of dietary multivitamin/multimineral supplementation. Dietary supplementation continues to provoke debate. The purpose of this study was to determine if supplementation affects nutrition status, antioxidant status and cardiovascular health in healthy individuals. Preferably, a CAM Provider can evaluate an individual’s specific health requirements and create a personalised health plan.
The study concludes that mutltivitamin/multimineral supplementation improved several aspects of human health.
