Baby Foods – Heavy Metals

The Subcommittee on Economic and Consumer Policy Committee on Oversight and Reform U.S. House of Representatives published a report on February 4, 2021 entitled ‘Baby Foods Are Tainted with Dangerous Levels of Arsenic, Lead, Cadmium, and Mercury’. The Subcommittee requested internal documents and test results from some of the largest baby food manufacturers in the U.S. The findings show that commercial baby foods by these manufacturers are tainted with levels of toxic heavy metals.
