Cancer – music therapy reduces anxiety and pain

Researchers at Drexel University have recently shown that music therapy can have a positive effect on cancer patients suffering from anxiety and pain. Researchers conducted 30 studies with almost 2000 patients. In these studies, they found that listening to music was linked to reductions in heart and respiratory rates and blood pressure. Music is something that many therapists use every day, and this proves what CAM Providers have been saying for years.
