Vitamin D – D3 considerably more potent than D2

Research carried our by the University of Nebraska and published in the journal of Endocrinology indicates that Vitamin D3 is vastly superior to Vitamin D2. This experiment, however, refers exclusively to potency rather than Vitamin D as a nutrient. It is well clinically established that Vitamin D3 is a powerful antioxidant with particular application in immune system enhancement. Vitamin D is derived from adequate exposure to sunshine.
