Swine flu – Regulator says don’t make claims

FDA (Food and Drug Administration) the US agency responsible for foods and drugs issued a warning letter to an American supplier of supplements and homoeopathic products. The company had made claims that specific products could either alleviate or prevent viral infections such as the swine flu or H1N1 virus. In its letter FDA stated that no claims can be made unless the products in question have been registered and approved and called for the removal of all such claims on the relevant products.
