Swedish Court Approves: Doctors can recommend Homoeopathy

Following a lengthy court case, doctors in Sweden are now permitted to use homoeopathy in practice. The ruling comes following a legal challenge brought by a Swedish doctor who was placed on probation by the Medical Responsibility Board after recommending homoeopathic remedies to his patients. The doctor in question argued that he had recommended homoeopathy at the request of his patient, and only after conventional, allopathic treatments had failed. Previously, Swedish authorities had deemed homoeopathy ‘unscientific’, however, the recent ruling acknowledges the growing body of evidence supporting the efficacy of homoeopathy. read more…
