Researchers at Johns Hopkins hospital have conducted research on the effects of supplemental vitamin C in the lowering of the blood pressure. The researchers found that 33% of men and 25% of women in middle age reduced the risk of heart disease and stroke. The ideal dosage for positive effect was 500mg per day. Read more.
