Healthcare Ltd. is located
on the National Technological Park at Plassey just outside Limerick
City alongside the University of Limerick and a number of major
companies, all leaders in their field. The company operates from a
modern building which houses its Production Quality Control
and
Administration.
Quality Products.
New Vistas has built a reputation with its customers for
quality
and efficiency. Concentration is on selected niches in the spectrum of
needs and it is the objective of the management team to have the best
quality product available to meet customer needs. In order to achieve
this we outline here some of the key strengths and policies, which have
brought that about.
The
company operates Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good
Distribution Practices (GDP) in all aspects of its business. It holds a
Manufacturers Licence from the Competent Authority to cover its
activities and is inspected by the Authority from time to time in
accordance with the regulations governing the manufacture of medicinal
products.
Quality products start with quality raw materials. We source
selectively, visit suppliers, look at their facilities and procedures,
outline our requirements and build relationships.
This
includes relationships with some of the established and recognised
companies in Natural Health.
Incoming
Q.C. provides inspection of all raw materials, detailed sample testing
and selected microbiological testing. In process, Q.C.
inspections are made and recorded and a final Q.C. inspection is made
before products are placed on the shelf for dispatch
Internal
self-inspection is carried out in all departments and recorded. Samples
of raw materials, and finished goods are taken at random and sent to an
independent laboratory for microbiological and other testing so as to
validate company findings.
All homoeopathic products are succussed and potentised using
traditional hand shaking which dates back to the time of Hahnemann.
It is company policy to use organic materials where such are available.
All ingredients of animal origin are obtained from organically and
biodynamically farmed sources. All sarcodes are prepared in
accordance with requirements of the European Pharmacopeia.
Herbs
are sourced from GMP certified companies who operate to Pharmaceutical
and Pharmacopeial standards.

Education & Support
If the new approach to health is to be achieved, education is and will continue to be a key factor, education of the practitioner, the patient, the retailer and the consumer. In this respect:
- We provide a continuous telephone backup service for practitioners and/or for their clients if required.
- We provide regular Group Seminars where practitioners update their knowledge and share experience with other professionals.
- For teaching purposes we engage the services of a number of independent doctors and practitioners who bring to the classroom many years experience of clinical practice.
